ISEO, one of the leading European manufacturers of mechatronic and digital solutions for access control and security, has appointed Roberto Gaspari as the new Group Chief Executive Officer. The designation will be effective from January 1, 2020.

Roberto Gaspari holds a degree in business administration from Bocconi University and has a solid and deep knowledge of the sector. In fact, before joining ISEO, he was COO AS EMEA of the Dormakaba group (one of the leaders on the global market for security and access control) and previously held top positions in Silca and CISA.

His entry will allow ISEO, the second player on the Italian market with a significant presence abroad on European markets and in the Middle East, to strengthen the Group’s development and expansion phase in both the traditional sector of mechanical security products and in the innovative sector of access control through electronic products and systems.

"I have had the opportunity to meet Roberto in recent years - says Evaristo Facchinetti, President of ISEO - and I am certain that he is the right person for our next challenges. I believe that his professional profile and knowledge of the international reference markets, together with the recent entry of the Italmobiliare Group with a 40% of shares in ISEO shareholding structure, are the best conditions for achieving the ambitious goals we have set ourselves for the future".

"In the years as a member of the Board of Directors of Iseo - adds Roberto Gaspari - I have known and appreciated the historical shareholders of the group, the company and, subsequently, the new shareholders of Italmobiliare; I am honoured for the opportunity that has been offered to me and I am certain that together we will achieve the set objectives.

In 2018, the ISEO Group turnover was € 138 million - with approximately three quarters of the revenue generated on international markets - and the Gross Operating Margin over € 14 million. The group, based in Pisogne (Brescia), operates with 3 plants in Italy, as well as production sites in Romania, France, Germany and Spain.
